Frequently Asked Questions
Because when it comes to your child’s sleep, details matter.
The RECOVERY PILLOW KIDS is recommended for children from the age of 4. At this stage, the muscles and spine are sufficiently developed, allowing an ergonomic pillow to properly support healthy sleep.
Important: The pillow is not suitable for children under 4 years old. In particular, the typical stomach-sleeping position with legs drawn up is a sign that a pillow is not yet needed.
There is no strict upper age limit, as growth and body structure vary greatly during childhood—especially before and during puberty.
Yes – but with some limitations:
For children who sleep in the classic stomach position with legs drawn up, a pillow is not recommended.
For older children who sleep flat on their stomach or partially on their side or back, the flat design is ideal.
Tip: Make sure the spine remains in a neutral position while lying on the stomach and is not overstretched.
We recommend that parents briefly check their child’s sleeping position when they fall asleep:
Back and stomach position:
The head rests in the center of the indentation, and the chin is not tilted downward or backward.
Side position:
The head and shoulders form one straight line, without any bending or strain in the neck.
That is completely normal — especially at a young age. The pillow provides support whenever it is being used.
